Toelating

Je bent toelaatbaar tot de opleiding ArtCoDe als je beschikt over één van de volgende diploma’s: havo/vwo of mbo (diploma met niveau 4). Om toelaatbaar te zijn met een mbo-achtergrond, moet je een middenkaderopleiding of specialistenopleiding (kwalificatieniveau 4) gevolgd hebben. In sommige gevallen is het zelfs mogelijk een versnelde hbo-route te doorlopen. Als je hiervoor in aanmerking denkt te komen, kun je contact opnemen met Bureau Studentenadministratie: FHKSA@fontys.nl. Als je in het bezit bent van een buitenlands diploma, dan geldt als voorwaarde dat dit diploma aan de Nederlandse normen moet voldoen. Je kunt dit door ons laten checken. Neem hiervoor contact op met het Bureau Studentenadministratie of kijk op de site www.fontys.nl/kunsten. Een persoonlijk gesprek maakt deel uit van de toelatingsprocedure.

Admission

You can be admitted to the ArtCoDe study programme if you are in the possession of one of the following diplomas: havo/vwo or mbo (diploma with level 4). If you have an mbo-background, you must have done a management training or specialist training (qualification level 4). In some cases it is even possible to do an accelerated hbo (higher professional education) programme. If you think that you qualify for this, you can contact the Bureau for student administration: FHKSA@fontys.nl If you have a foreign diploma, this diploma must meet the Dutch norms. We can check this for you. Just contact the Bureau for student administration or look on the site www.fontys.nl/kunsten. A personal talk is part of the admission procedure.

Aanvullende eisen

Voor een studie in het kunstvakonderwijs moet je talent hebben om te verbeelden. Daarom is er een selectie aan de poort. Bij ArtCoDe betekent dat een intake-assessment gebaseerd op je praktijkwerk en affiniteit met de kunsttheorie. Het assessment duurt ongeveer een dag (meestal een zaterdag) en bestaat uit een praktische opdracht. De aanwezige docenten zullen korte gesprekken met je voeren naar aanleiding van je beeldende werk en je portfolio. Indien nodig volgt er een extra gesprek. Je hoort zo snel mogelijk of je toegelaten bent. De bijdrage voor het intake-assessment is € 50. Wanneer je als kandidaat geslaagd bent voor het assessment ontvang je een bewijs van toelating met een nulmeting. Dit bewijs moet je bewaren, omdat het gebruikt zal worden bij de start van je opleiding.

Additional requirements

A study in professional art education requires a talent for visualisation. We therefore have a pre-selection. For ArtCoDe this means that an intake assessment is based on your practical work and your affinity with the theory of art. The assessment takes about one day (usually a Saturday) and consists of a practical assignment. The teachers present will have brief talks with you about your visual work and your portfolio. If necessary, there will be a follow-up talk. We will let you know as soon as possible if you are admitted. The contribution for the intake assessment is € 50. When you have passed the assessment you will receive a confirmation of admission with a zero test. You have to keep this because it will be used at the start of your study.

 21+ toets

Niet de juiste vooropleiding? Als je niet de juiste vooropleiding hebt, maar je bent wel 21 jaar of ouder, dan is het mogelijk een “21+” toelatingsonderzoek te doen. Zo’n onderzoek bestaat uit een testdag met capaciteitenonderzoek, waarbij wordt onderzocht of een hbo-studie binnen je bereik ligt. Deze test vindt altijd voorafgaand aan de toelating plaats. 21+ admission test

Not the right prior education? If you do not have the right prior education, but you are aged 21 or older, it is possible to do a “21+” admission test. During the test day your capacities will be tested in order to find out if a study at hbo-level is within your reach. This test always takes place prior to admission.
