Introduction Master Choreography

Master in Choreography

Fontys College of the Arts: the Dance Academy, Tilburg, the Netherlands offers a professional Master course in Choreography.

The Choreography programme offers a unique opportunity to extend your creative, conceptual and intellectual skills, knowledge and attitudes, working with professional practitioners from around Europe.

It is specially designed to accommodate the needs of dance artists/choreographers working in professional, amateur and educational fields, self employed or freelance, or as employees of a professional company, academy, agency, institution or university. We focus on the education of concepts, theories and principles in support of creative artistic processes and on challenging, through experimentation and risk-taking, established conventions in the discipline. Fontys Dance Academy recognizes the desire for professional career development, the need for more sophisticated critical reflection on own practice and the practice of others, and for deepening intellectual understandings of the practitioner-researcher.
