The student of the Academy of fine Arts and Education (in Dutch: 'Academie voor Beeldende Vorming', ABV) develops his own visual vision, learns the principles on which a good picture or image is based, and learns to make use of different media and techniques. At the same time, the student is thoroughly prepared for the profession of teacher in the visual arts and design for all types of education.
